Job Description

We are looking for a contract Invoice Processor for an automotive firm in Fountain Valley. CA

Location: Fountain Valley,, CA Hybrid 3 days in office 2 days remote

Hours: 8 am - 5pm

Payrate: $24 -$26

Required: Excel Assessment

Duties:

• Utilize the system for entering claims to offset costs or credits from suppliers.
• Ensure receipt and inventory of all parts listed on Purchase Orders before confirming invoices.
• Validate price and quantity accuracy for 200 monthly invoices, forwarding them to Accounts Payable for final payment.
• Conduct regular invoice audits and collaborate directly with the Accounts Payable team.
• Analyze 50 invoices daily, identifying discrepancies and coordinating with stakeholders for resolution and invoice clearance.
• Use daily invoice reports to track receipt of shipments and identify invoices ready for processing.
• Investigate shortage/overage claims by tracing shipments, obtaining proof of delivery, packing slips, and comparing carrier weights.
• Manage 31 supplier accounts, addressing inquiries on payment status, reconciliation, and ensuring invoices adhere to net-30 terms.
• Oversee subcontractor weekly collections report, communicating with subcontractors to resolve payment discrepancies and providing necessary documentation.
